Testimonials
Don't Take My Word for It
βLokesh has a really rare skillset β user-focused aesthetics, pragmatism, and technical ability. The combination of UX expertise and Flutter development is rare. Most agencies have separate designers and developers. Great communication too.β
βLokesh's comprehension of what we needed was very, very good β probably the best feedback I could offer. It all came together very nicely.β
βFeatures were turned around quickly and it was relatively bug-free β no serious issues. His code is well-architected and segmented. The handover documentation was comprehensive β it's been easy to get into the code. That worked extremely well.β
βBecause he can design and code, he understands problems end to end and communicates across teams in a way most people can't. He joined us and within weeks was contributing to everything from logo design to UX surveys to building and testing the apps. He took full ownership from day one.β
βLokesh is faster than any developer or UX person I've worked with. He questions things that everyone else accepts, and he's not afraid to say what he thinks even when his take is different. That's exactly who you want at a startup.β
βWe hired Lokesh to build an app and he delivered it in two months. He's professional, communicates clearly with anyone regardless of background, and hits every deadline. His work at the University of Hong Kong has been critical for brain injury patients across China and Oxford.β

What I Bring
Full-loop product design.
Research, interaction design, visual design, usability testing, design systems. The whole product, not just one slice of it.
Research-driven, not opinion-driven.
80+ user interviews, 1,000+ survey responses, 20+ workshops. Everything I design starts with talking to real users, testing prototypes, and building research-backed personas that shape what gets built.
I design it and I build it.
Flutter, HTML/CSS, JavaScript. I manage the project, write the code, and get it out the door. AI workflows help me move faster.
10+ years across six industries.
Healthcare, education, IoT, social impact, advertising, consumer products. Early-stage startups and small teams. Solo and inside teams of 16.

Where Iβve Been
- Self Employed - FreelanceProduct Designer & Developer2022 - Now
Worked with founders and small teams, usually as the only designer. Projects started with research, talking to users, understanding the business, figuring out what we could actually build. Then I'd move into design and write the production code myself in Flutter. Clients included a hardware startup shipping their first consumer lighting app, a medical device company that needed a companion app for their reminder device, and a healthcare company rethinking how 200+ clinics get paid.
Built a BLE smart lighting companion app for Sunday Light from scratch, Figma through Flutter (iOS & Android). Took Membot's medical reminder device from concept to shipped companion app (Figma + Flutter). Led design for a clinic revenue cycle management web platform serving 200+ healthcare providers. Shipped websites for clients across lending, finance, interior design, and technology. - LVNDR HealthProduct Designer2020 - 2022
